Thursday 27th June 2019 saw the launch of a new Rob Hill Foundation free addiction recovery workshop and support group in Ryde on the Isle of Wight. The Mayor of Ryde Cllr Michael Lilley cut the ribbon, launching this new service on the island. The workshop is welcomed as there are over 600 islanders with opiate addiction and services are over-stretched. Although the workshop has only been running a couple of months, once a week – it has already seen several success stories including people who have beaten alcohol addiction, nicotine, sugar and severe anxiety.

The story made the headlines in the County Press.
